[Guide] Connecting to Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 11 (2011) via Visual Studio 11 Developer Preview
In last article we Installed Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2011 (11) Developer Preview. Now we are going to connect it via Visual Studio 11 Developer Preview. I have covered How to Install Visual Studio 11 on Windows 7 in this article.
So lets get started,
Open Visual Studio 11 and click on the "Team" tab & then to "Connect to the Team Foundation Server" tab. As shown below,
Enter TFS Server details such as IP address & ports & click on "Add" tab.
Click close to continue,
Now TFS server will appear in the Servers list along with "Team Project Collections", Click on "Connect" tab to connect to the Server,
Now you can see the TFS Collections..
You access TFS via Web Browser using Web Access tab. In previous version of TFS it was missing :) TFS has nice enhancements & very good look & feel.
So lets get started,
Open Visual Studio 11 and click on the "Team" tab & then to "Connect to the Team Foundation Server" tab. As shown below,
Click on "Server" tab to add the Team foundation server,
