What is DHCP Server?
Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) is a service on a network that provides IP addressing and DNS server information to Desktop/Laptop clients and any other device such as iPad,Android Phones.
There is no need to assign IP address statically to every device on your network and to manage the issues that static IP addressing can create such as IP address conflicts.
