Use WinRAR and then extract the folder to wherever you want but make sure u have at least 20 GB or more place on your hard drive.
Now open VMware Workstation 8, right click in Library windows & click on "open" as shown below,
Browse path for your OS X Lion vmdk file & "Mac OS X lion.vmx" file
Click on Power on the virtual machine as shown below,
If you get below "Virtual keyboard support Driver" go to VM settings & change Enhanced Virtual Keyboard settings to Use if available as shown below
