Mozilla has released a new version of the open source Firefox Web browser for Windows,Linux and MAC. The update brings a much slimmer memory footprint.

The latest version of Firefox has the following changes,
Drastically improved memory handling for certain use casesAdded a new rendering backend to speed up Canvas operations on Windows systems
