Adding Team Foundation Server in Visual Studio
  1. Open Visual Studio 2010. Go to Team->Connect To Team Foundation Server




  1. Click on Server tab.




  1. Enter Server Name & Port number. Here use you main TFS (i.e. tfs-server-name)




Team Foundation Server Proxy configuration

  1. Open Visual Studio 2010. Go to Tools->Options




  1. In options go to Source Control-> Visual Studio Team foundation server & select “Use Proxy Server for file downloads”. In Proxy Server Name tab type proxy server name (e.g tfs-proxy-server) & port number “8081” here use your tfs proxy server
