How To Block Sites On Computer Without Using Software
There are thousands of softwares are available on internet to block sites but, I am going to show you how to block sites on computer without using any software.
In coming daysI am going to show how to block websites using Squid Proxy. But if you want to block websites on specific computer without using any software we can use below methods..
1. Go to Run
2. Type C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/ & enter
3. Open the hosts file in Notepad
4. Type 127.0.0.1 www.example.com
as shown in below screen shot..
Save it.
Done!
Now when you try to open example.com it will get redirected to the 127.0.0.1 (i.e. to your loopback address), so you will not able to access www.example.com..
