Today I have faced one issue after the installation of VMWare tools on the Windows Server 8 Beta. Virtual machine became unresponsive and the screen was black .
The fix to that issue is to enable Graphics acceleration from the VM settings and then reboot the machine. That should fix the display blank out issue.
